For 40 years, VEITHsymposium has covered every area of venous disease. There is no doubt that venous has evolved as the new frontier. We are in the middle of an exciting venous revolution. Topics to be addressed will include new developments in management of pulmonary embolism, complex vascular malformations and vascular tumors: current controversies and therapies, management of large vein occlusive disease and endovenous treatment of varicose veins and much more!
The question remains. What’s next after CREST. The role of carotid atherosclerosis as a risk for stroke, including when and how to treat it are important highlights of this year’s meeting. Expect to hear a powerful presentation from a well-known vascular expert who has attended every international educational event where some push stenting to the limits.
Including surgical management.
Updates and new concepts in wound care and newer interventions surrounding drug eluting balloons and stents.
Vascular specialists and podiatrists will give talks on improvements in revascularization techniques, diabetic foot ulcers, blood flow and more.
Emergency room stroke triage issues, diagnosis and when to treat TIA’s aggressively, building blocks for a stroke center and other hot topics.
But see for yourself. Visit our program here and select which presentations you would like to attend. Remember all of our presenters will be on hand to conduct interviews in the VEITHsymposium press suite.
